Merchant of Delaware Co., Ohio. Bulk of collection dates from 1814-1843 and consists of bills of lading, receipts, business correspondence and other miscellaneous material documenting the workings of an early Ohio mercantile firm. The correspondence includes several letters from John Shaw, subagent of the Wyandot mission at Upper Sandusky, concerning personal and agency supply orders. Other letters discuss currency problems and prices and orders for supplies.
